Sektra AI (“Sektra”) provides AI-powered email relationship intelligence for teams.

Account information - name, email address, and account credentials when you sign up.

Gmail data - with your explicit permission via Google OAuth, we access your email content to provide relationship intelligence features. This includes email threads, sender and recipient information, timestamps, and message content.

Usage data - how you interact with Sektra, features used, and frequency of use.

We use your information solely to provide and improve the Sektra service. Specifically we use your Gmail data to identify important relationships, surface unanswered questions, generate relationship summaries, and deliver your daily digest.

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use your email content for advertising.
• We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.

We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to operate the service:

Infrastructure providers - AWS for data storage and processing, Supabase for database services.

AI providers - we use AI models to process email content and generate insights. Email content is processed but not stored by AI providers.

Payment processors - Stripe or Paddle for billing. They do not have access to your email data.

Authentication - Clerk for secure login. Google for OAuth authentication.

Our use of Gmail data complies with Google API Services User Data Policy including the Limited Use requirements. We only access Gmail data to provide features that are visible and useful to you. We do not use Gmail data for any purpose other than providing the Sektra service.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account we permanently delete all your data including indexed emails and relationship data within 30 days.

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, export your data, and disconnect Gmail access at any time.

If you are located in the European Union you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. We use OAuth for authentication and never store your Gmail password.

Sektra uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies.

We will notify you of significant changes to this policy via email. Continued use of Sektra after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
