Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 May 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Sektra AI (“Sektra”, “we”, “us”) for the use of the Sektra website and application (the “Service”). By creating or joining a workspace you accept them. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

The Privacy Policy and Refund Policy form part of these terms. A signed Enterprise agreement takes precedence wherever it differs.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 and using the Service for business purposes. The person who creates a workspace is its owner, controls billing and membership, and is responsible for what is done in the workspace. Keep your login details private and tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.

3. Connected accounts

Sektra connects to Gmail, Outlook and WhatsApp Business accounts you already run. Mail connects over OAuth: you grant permission through Google or Microsoft, we never see your password, and you can revoke the permission at any time. With it, Sektra reads your mail, applies labels or categories, and sends the messages your team writes. WhatsApp connects through your own WhatsApp Business API provider, and your agreement with that provider and with Meta stays with you.

You are responsible for having the right to connect each inbox and number, including any approval your organisation requires.

4. Your data

Your mail, messages, contacts, notes and everything Sektra derives from them are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the Service, keep it secure and comply with the law. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Where your data includes personal information about other people, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to process it.

5. AI features

Sektra uses AI to prioritise, summarise, tag, draft and answer questions from your history. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review anything important before you rely on it, and review every draft before it is sent. A draft is never sent without a person choosing to send it. You are responsible for the messages your team sends.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • send spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or break the sending rules of Google, Microsoft, Meta or your provider;
  • connect an account you are not authorised to use;
  • break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or harass or deceive anyone;
  • interfere with the Service, or get around usage limits, access controls or billing;
  • copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the Service.

7. Plans, trials and payment

Plans and prices are on the pricing page. Plans are priced per seat in US dollars, billed monthly or annually in advance, and renew automatically until cancelled. Adding a seat is charged for the rest of the current period; removing one credits the unused portion to your next invoice.

Every new workspace starts with a 14-day trial of the Pro plan, with no card required. Moving to a higher plan takes effect immediately with a prorated charge. Moving to a lower plan takes effect at the next renewal.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for every order and collects any applicable tax. If a payment fails after retries, the subscription is cancelled. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email.

8. AI credits and fair use

Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance per seat, pooled across the workspace, for assistant questions, action items and AI drafts. Plan credits reset each billing period and do not carry over. Credits bought as a top-up pack carry over and expire 12 months after purchase. Running out of credits pauses the assistant only; mail keeps syncing and your team can keep sending. Plans also carry fair-use limits on AI processing volume and daily sending, and we will tell you if your workspace is close to one.

9. Cancellation and termination

The owner can cancel from Billing at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not refund the rest of it, except as set out in the Refund Policy. A workspace without an active plan is paused: mail keeps syncing and stays readable, while sending and AI features wait until a plan is chosen. Nothing is deleted.

To delete a workspace, the owner emails us. We delete its data within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate access if you break these terms or your use puts the Service or other customers at risk, and where practical we will warn you first.

10. Intellectual property

The Service and everything in it other than your data belongs to Sektra AI and its licensors. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these terms.

11. Warranties and liability

We provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that it is provided as is: we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that AI output will be accurate. Your mail stays in Gmail, Outlook or WhatsApp, and Sektra is not a system of record.

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or data. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You will compensate us for third-party claims arising from your data or your breach of these terms.

12. Changes

We may change the Service and these terms. For material changes to the terms we will email workspace owners at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
