Hiver has three plans, and the prices are the same whether you pick the Hiver in Gmail extension or the standalone Hiver Omni platform. Growth is $25 per user per month on annual billing ($35 monthly), Pro is $55 ($65 monthly) and Elite is $85 ($95 monthly). All plans start at two seats, then grow to five and in steps of five. Verified on hiverhq.com, October 2026.
This explainer sets out what each tier holds and how the seat steps change the bill for a small team. It also covers what the Voice add-on costs and whether there is a free plan today. The numbers come from Hiver's two pricing pages. We build Sektra, a shared inbox for client teams, and the final section says where it differs.
Five Hiver users pay $125 a month on Growth, $275 on Pro or $425 on Elite with annual billing. Fifteen pay $375, $825 or $1,275. SLAs and CSAT start on Pro. AI QA and Customer Intelligence sit on Elite. Voice is $30 per voice seat a month. The pricing pages list a 7-day trial and no free plan, verified October 2026.

Hiver in Gmail is a Chrome extension that works on top of an existing Gmail or Google Workspace account, and the page states that a Gmail account is required. Hiver Omni is a standalone platform for Gmail, Outlook and other providers, with email, live chat, Slack, voice, WhatsApp and social channels. The FAQ notes that higher tiers unlock more channels, without listing which.
What is in each Hiver plan?
Growth
Growth holds the shared inbox and ticketing core: team inboxes such as support@, ownership and history, rule-based automations, pre-built analytics and basic integrations such as Slack. Hiver's AI items are listed on every plan, including AI Agents, AI Copilot for drafting, Skills for step-by-step procedures, and AI Knowledge Builder. On Omni, Growth covers email, live chat and self-service. On Hiver in Gmail it adds a Help Center.
SLAs, CSAT surveys and the customer portal are not on Growth. A team that needs response targets or satisfaction scores buys Pro.
Pro
Pro, the middle tier, adds the Customer Portal, SLAs for response and resolution targets, and CSAT surveys. It also adds advanced analytics with custom reports and dashboards, premium integrations such as Asana, Shopify and CRMs, and API access. On Hiver Omni it also adds Slack channels as a support channel.
Elite
Elite holds the analysis and governance layer. AI QA scores replies, AI Insights groups conversations into topics, and Customer Intelligence reports sentiment and churn signals. It also adds skill-based routing, custom objects, rules that move mail from personal inboxes into shared ones, SSO, HIPAA-compliant handling and custom roles.
Does Hiver have a free plan?
Not on the pricing pages as of October 2026. Both pages list Growth, Pro and Elite only. Hiver's FAQ describes a 7-day free trial that opens the Elite plan with no credit card. When the trial ends without an upgrade, the account is suspended, and it can be reactivated by upgrading within 7 days.
Hiver's FAQ lists discounted pricing for qualified nonprofits, arranged through a demo.
What do the seat minimums mean for a small team?
Hiver's FAQ states that all plans start at two seats, can increase from two to five, and then grow in increments of five: 10, 15, 20 and so on. There is no three-, four-, seven- or twelve-seat bill. A team of three buys five seats, a team of seven buys ten, and a team of twelve buys fifteen.
| Team | Plan | Annual billing, per month | Annual billing, per year | Monthly billing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 users | Growth | $125 | $1,500 | $175 |
| 5 users | Pro | $275 | $3,300 | $325 |
| 5 users | Elite | $425 | $5,100 | $475 |
| 15 users | Growth | $375 | $4,500 | $525 |
| 15 users | Pro | $825 | $9,900 | $975 |
| 15 users | Elite | $1,275 | $15,300 | $1,425 |
A seven-person team pays for ten seats: $250 a month on Growth or $550 on Pro with annual billing. The step matters most between five and ten, where three unfilled seats on Pro are $165 a month.
Where do Hiver costs rise?
- The Pro step. SLAs, CSAT, the customer portal, advanced analytics and API access move a team from $25 to $55 per user, which more than doubles the bill for the same seats.
- The Elite step. AI QA, AI Insights, Customer Intelligence, SSO and custom roles sit at $85, so a compliance requirement such as SSO is a $30 per user step over Pro.
- Voice. Each voice seat is $30 a month with 1,000 minutes pooled across voice seats, and extra minutes are $0.03 each.
- Seat rounding. Teams of three, four, six to nine and eleven to fourteen pay for seats they do not fill.
- Channels on Omni. The FAQ says higher tiers unlock more channels, so a channel such as WhatsApp may need a tier above the one the email volume needs. Confirm on a demo.
- Monthly billing. The monthly rate is $10 per user above annual on every plan.
Where Sektra differs
Sektra is an AI shared inbox that remembers what your team promised. It is a separate workspace that syncs two-way with Gmail, Outlook and IMAP and connects a WhatsApp Business number through your provider. A Gmail team and an Outlook team run the same product. Three things sit in the plan price that the Hiver bill tiers, adds on or leaves out.
- AI drafts and assistant questions are on every plan through a monthly allowance of credits, the unit that counts assistant requests, with no AI tier to climb.
- The memory layer, Sektra's per-client record of commitments, open questions and people, is built from the inbox history on connect. A ticket queue records what was resolved. It keeps no record of what was promised or who owes the next reply.
- WhatsApp Business is a channel on the same footing as email, with the 24-hour window and templates in the composer.
