How the trial, seats and credits work

The 7-day Pro trial with no card, what happens when it ends, how seats are counted and charged, what credits pay for, and how the credit pack works.

Every new workspace starts with 7 days of Pro and no card. When the trial ends you pick a plan from Billing; until you do, the workspace is paused but nothing is deleted. Seats are people, charged pro rata when added. Credits are the monthly AI allowance pooled across the team, spent only on what you ask the assistant for. Prices are on the pricing page.

The trial

The trial is Pro, with every feature on. Three days before it ends the owner gets an email, and another when it ends. There is no free plan: an unconverted trial pauses. While paused, mail keeps syncing and stays readable and searchable; sending, assignments, action items and the assistant wait. Choose a plan in Billing, Subscription and everything resumes within a minute with inboxes, history and the memory layer intact.

Seats

A seat is a person with a login. The owner counts. An invite is held against the plan's seat limit. When it is accepted, the seat is added to the subscription at once and charged pro rata for the rest of the period to the card on file. Removing a teammate schedules the decrease for the next renewal, so the seat stays paid until then. Each seat includes one personal inbox. The number of shared inboxes depends on the plan.

Credits

Credits pay for what a person asks the assistant for: a question costs one credit, an AI draft two, and creating an action item one. Everything that runs on its own as mail arrives is included in the plan and uses no credits. That covers priority scoring, thread summaries, auto-tagging, assignment rules, the typing indicator, the memory layer, search, watches and scheduled reviews.

The plan grants a number of credits per seat each month, pooled across the team, so a heavy user never blocks a colleague. Annual plans receive their credits in monthly slices. Billing, Overview shows the balance and what the assistant did this period.

The credit pack

If the pool runs out, Buy credits on the Overview page sells a 500-credit pack. Purchased credits carry over from month to month and expire 12 months after purchase. Running out of credits pauses the assistant only; mail, sending and assignment keep working.

Changing plans

Upgrades apply at once: you pay the pro-rata difference for the rest of the period and the billing date does not move. Downgrades, and a switch between monthly and annual, take effect at the next renewal. A downgrade is refused while the team has more seats or shared inboxes than the smaller plan allows.

Contact support
What happens when the trial ends?

The workspace pauses until you choose a plan. Mail keeps syncing and stays readable; sending, assignments, action items and the assistant wait. Nothing is deleted.

Do credits roll over?

The monthly allowance resets each month. Credits from a purchased pack carry over and expire 12 months after purchase.

Does adding a seat mid-month cost a full month?

No. An added seat is charged pro rata for the days left in the period, and the renewal then includes it.

What uses credits and what does not?

Asking the assistant, drafts and action items use credits. Priority, summaries, tagging, assignment, memory and search run on every conversation at no extra cost.
