What Sektra reads
Events from your main calendar, from 90 days back to six months ahead, with their guests, times and video link. Each person connects their own calendar with calendar-only permissions. The mail permissions are separate and never shared with the calendar connection.
What you see
Day, three-day, week and month views inside Sektra, and your teammates' calendars at the level they share. Promises due and deadlines found in your mail are laid over the grid. Lens, the relationship panel beside every thread, shows the next and last meeting with each contact. An out-of-office event can mark you Away so new threads are not assigned to you.
The brief before a meeting
Ten minutes before a meeting with outside guests, a reminder arrives in the bell and as a browser notification. It carries a brief: who is coming, the last email either side sent, what you owe them, what they owe you, and the thread it lives in. It is built from your inbox and costs no AI credits.
What Sektra writes, and what it does not
Sektra creates, moves or answers a meeting only when you do it in Sektra, or confirm the assistant doing it. Guests are notified by your calendar provider. It never changes your calendar on its own, never reads mail through the calendar grant, and disconnecting deletes Sektra's copy of your events.

Does Sektra sync with Google Calendar and Outlook?
Yes. Each person connects one calendar, Google or Microsoft 365, through that provider's sign-in with calendar-only permissions. Your main calendar syncs; shared inbox calendars do not. An IMAP mailbox with a CalDAV calendar on the same server can connect that too.
Can I answer a meeting invite from Sektra?
Yes. An invite that arrives by email shows as a card on the thread. Answer yes, maybe or no there, and the answer goes through your connected calendar, or by email from a Gmail or IMAP inbox when no calendar is connected.
What is in the meeting brief?
Who is coming, the last email you and they sent, open promises in both directions with their dates, and the linked threads. It is built from your inbox and never from the event description, and it costs no AI credits.
Can teammates see my calendar?
Only what you choose. The default shows teammates when you are busy and nothing else. You can share meeting details or keep the calendar private, and private events always show as busy.
Does Sektra schedule meetings for me?
It suggests free times that fit your working hours and your teammates' calendars, and inserts them into a reply. Creating or changing a meeting is something you do, or confirm when the assistant proposes it.
